Our Story

How roadmap.golf began

There's a year I don't talk about enough.

My wife was sick, and that year our family was in survival mode — treatment schedules that made no sense, a household running on fumes. I was doing my best to keep everything together while she fought the hardest battle of her life.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, Myra's tournament season still needed to happen.

She's not the kind of kid who lets things slide. Competitive in everything she touches — golf, other sports, life. She noticed. She called me out on it directly. Dad wasn't prepared. Dad was copying what other families were doing, chasing rankings without thinking about long-term development, reacting instead of planning. She was right.

That moment stayed with me.

Every other part of her development had a system. Her swing coach. Her fitness. Her recruiting consultant. But the season itself — which tournaments, which tours, which events actually moved the needle for her level and her goals — that was still guesswork. I was sitting at a kitchen table with browser tabs open at 11pm trying to reverse engineer what other junior golf families were doing and hoping I wasn't falling behind.

There wasn't a tool that handled this well for competitive juniors. So I built one.

roadmap.golf is what I wish I'd had that year.

The Platform

What we built, and why

PathFinder — the algorithm

PathFinder scores tournaments against your player's specific profile. Ranking differential. Tour tier. Budget. Development stage. It doesn't give you a generic list. It tells you which events actually fit and why.

Season Health

Tracks the arc of the whole year — not just individual events but how the schedule holds together over time. The Lab simulates tradeoffs before the season starts so you're making decisions with data instead of instinct.

This is not a platform for casual junior golf families. It's for the ones who are serious — who think about periodization and long-term development, who understand that the wrong tournament at the wrong time can cost more than the entry fee.

For Coaches

Infrastructure for the work you're already doing

The best coaches in competitive junior golf are already doing this work — guiding families through tournament selection, building season strategy, thinking about timelines. They're doing it in parking lots and text threads and late-night phone calls, delivering expertise that is worth far more than what they're charging for it.

roadmap.golf gives that work a professional home. A platform your program can stand behind. Something you can put in front of a family and say — this is how we do it here.

Coach access is by application only. We review every request personally. If you take junior development seriously — if you think in terms of athlete development rather than just filling a schedule — you'll feel that the moment you log in.

About Me

This is personal

I'm Cornelius. Myra's dad. I run a software company, I've been in this world with her for years, and I built roadmap.golf because I lived the problem and nobody else was solving it.

My wife is on the other side of it now. Myra is competing. The season has a plan.

This platform exists so other families don't have to figure it out the hard way.
